LDL-P by NMR, analysis of lipoproteins for management of cardiovascular disease, is the first assay launched by LipoScience. Built on over a decade of lipoprotein knowledge, the LP-IR score,* a lipoprotein-based indicator of developing insulin resistance and early indicator of pre-diabetes, was launched in the fall of 2009.

* The LP-IR score is performed in LipoScience's CLIA certified laboratory.
